How Well Can You See in the Dark?
You know when you walk into a dark room and all the lights are off and you can't see a single thing, and you kinda walk through the room squinting your eyes, holding your hands out in front of you, hopeing that you won't run into anything. Or maybe you just stand there at the doorway and wait. What is that you're waiting for you say? You're waiting for your eyes to adjust to the darkness so that you can see? EXACTLY!! Sometimes we go through life the same way, we are walking in darkness and we are just waiting for our eyes to adjust so that we can see better. Why walk through darkness waiting for your eyes to adjust, why not just turn on the light? Sometimes when we are in the dark so long, we forget how bright the light really is, and how much more we can see when we are in the light. As I was reading my bible I came across this scripture:
"You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriputes point to me! Yet you refuse to come to me to recieve this life." John 5:39-40
Sometimes we just refuse to turn on the light.
It's just a thought I had, so I wanted to post it.
